The bykstar brings your driving pleasure to life right away. It was conceived from scratch and offers individual mobility at the pulse of time. Developed by a Munich native who not only loves mountain biking and motorcycling passionately, but is also a true technology freak.

bykstar has a technology concept within it that offers maximum performance and safety, functionality and reliability with a minimum of components and maintenance – and also enables maximum variability.

Motor.

Efficient, individually developed electric drive with 12KW maximum power and a unique power-to-weight ratio of 3.92 kg/KW. This results in a performance comparable only to that of proven Sportbikes.

Battery.

The bykstar has an individually developed Lithium Ion Battery for optimised performance and charging time, which is replaceable. With 2.65kWh you have 85km of driving fun with a fast charging time of only 60 minutes. (in normal mode 2.5 h)

Chassis.

For more agility on any surface: Downhill Race Suspension Fork with 200 mm Spring Range and Freeride & Downhill Suspension with 220 Spring Range. Wheel Size: 26″ Front Rim, 24″ Rear Rim. Front/Rear Brakes: Hydraulic Disc Brake, 203 mm. 3 riding Modes allow every rider the optimal driving dynamics.

Frame.

The patented aluminium frame is manufactured in platform construction without welds and also visually underlines the high-tech character. Its total weight (Ready to ride) is about 47 kg and steering head angle 63°. Extremely light and extremely torsion-resistant. Absolutely corrosion resistant. There is currently no comparable bike on the market – just a class of its own.

The two-wheel Enthusiast and technical Inventor, Christian Kugele, found it difficult to decide for a spontaneous ride between MTB and cross bike over and over again. Until he started to develop a completely new bike a few years ago, which combines the advantages of both.

The unique and patented (applications in 2018 and 2019) construction allows FOUR variants on only ONE frame and drive basis in total.

The placement of the motor on the swinging axle creates an optimal center of gravity. All models include separate cable harnesses for travel and component control. Chain or belt drive is also possible.
